The SVACC provided three Certificate of Employability workshops to local high schools this spring. Fourteen different employers joined chamber staff to share information on career pathways in their industries and essential skills needed in the workplace. Each class session included an activity to highlight an essential skill and time for students to ask questions. Fifty-two students received a Certificate of Employability certificate.
The SVACC also partnered with three local manufacturing employers to present information about pathways in the manufacturing industry and about local employers to high school students.
