Over 100 participants across Illinois joined the 2nd annual virtual Transitional English Language Arts (TELA) Summit hosted on December 1, 2023, by Sauk Valley Community College and Regional Office of Education #47. Ben Sondergroth, Lead Regional Educational Technology Coordinator for The Learning Technology Center, presented on the use of AI in the English classroom. Breakout sessions were led by the TELA portability panel and included both PreK-12 and community college aspects.
