District 214 Apprentices Gain On-the-Job Experience, Earn College Credit

Now several months into its second year, High School District 214’s apprenticeship program is building on the success of its inaugural year by branching out to serve more students in more fields.

Plans are underway for a virtual work-based internship in the second semester through a WIOA grant received in July 2020.
