On May 20, 2025, the Whiteside Area Career Center (WACC) proudly hosted its Work-Based Learning Signing Day, recognizing an exceptional group of students who turned their internships into employment opportunities! Nine students from various sending school districts were recognized for their outstanding performance and professionalism during their internships. Each of these students was offered a position at their internship site, a testament to their work ethic, skills, and readiness to enter the workforce. This event is more than a celebration; it is a powerful reminder of what can happen when education and opportunity meet. WACC is incredibly proud of these students and grateful to the local businesses who continue to invest in the next generation of professionals.
