A first batch of new school-based resources, supported by the Room to Grow Grant, was distributed to high school administrators and counselors in the Highland Region Pathways to Success Leadership Community in early August. New Dual Credit Pathways documents help all stakeholders visualize the direct alignment between high school dual credit coursework and the precise requirements that coursework satisfies at the next level. Additionally, new College and Career Communication Templates help standardize complex language about school-based opportunities, such as dual credit, CCPEs, Transitional English, and Transitional Math, across our three counties. These communication templates were inspired by the Success Network webinar with the Michigan College Access Network from April. Both new resources serve our mission to help break down barriers to college and career success. Member high schools should be on the lookout for more resources and feedback requests over the coming months.
