Join the Success Network on Monday, November 10, 10–11 a.m., for an interactive workshop, where you will learn the principles of human-centered design to center students in your programs and communities. Using the Helix Education Model, learn how to deepen student impact and create systems where anyone can be a collaborator in design thinking and problem solving. Then, hear from the Siebel Center for Design at the University of Illinois and learn about how to engage with their resources and opportunities. You will leave the session with ready-to-go tools for your students, teams, and communities. This convening is free of charge and virtual.

Presenters
- Caitlin Botsios is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Education at Helix Education. She brings expertise in curriculum development, educator professional learning, and educational program management, building on her background as a middle school teacher and her leadership roles at WE and Teach For America. Through Helix, Caitlin works to empower educators and students by creating innovative learning experiences that blend technology, personalized learning, and civic engagement.
- Sean Connolly is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Business Operations at Helix Education. He brings expertise in student entrepreneurship, business education, and community partnerships, building on his background in higher education and community development at Loyola University Chicago. Through Helix, Sean works to transform traditional education by creating innovative learning experiences that bridge schools and communities.
- Rachel Switzky is the inaugural director of the Siebel Center for Design at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She champions human-centered design as a driver of collaboration, innovation, and positive change across education and industry. Before joining Illinois, she spent over two decades as a global design leader, most recently as an Executive Director at IDEO.
