Expanding Impact Across Southern Illinois

The Southern Illinois Leadership Community continues to build on strong momentum, with pilot schools in Vienna, Herrin, and Carbondale successfully implementing key 2-year program goals. These early successes are now serving as a model for broader regional adoption.

Looking ahead, the focus is on sustaining this progress and scaling impact. Existing goals will remain in place as efforts expand to additional Southern Illinois schools, ensuring that more students benefit from aligned, forward-thinking career-readiness strategies.

A new priority is also emerging: extending Career Cluster Orientation to middle schools. By introducing career pathways earlier, the initiative aims to better prepare students for informed decision-making and long-term success.

Together, these efforts reflect a growing regional commitment to collaboration, early engagement, and stronger talent pipeline development across Southern Illinois.
