Buffalo Grove High School Students Named National INCubatoredu Finalists

D214 Leads the Way in Prepping Students for Increasingly Vital Cybersecurity Careers

More than ever before, the U.S. needs highly trained cybersecurity professionals, and District 214 is among the leaders in preparing students for these careers through coursework, apprenticeships, and competition. Rolling Meadows High School placed a cybersecurity team among the nation’s top 12 this year and now recent Rolling Meadows graduate Minh Duong is among only 30 seniors in the country to earn the status of a National Cyber Scholar with Honors. This makes Minh eligible for a $3,000 scholarship to his chosen college. This prestigious honor is granted to only the 30 highest scoring Scholars in the country. Read more…

D220 is Making Progress on Their Education Pathway

The local chapter of Educators Rising is continuing into its second year with students applying for ambassadorship and other components offered. In partnership with Harper College, the district is adding dual credit courses (EDU 201 and EDU 202), forming a local advisory committee, and including the Mursion Simulation Program into their Early Childhood education classrooms while exploring innovative material upgrades for the pathway.
