Join the Success Network’s Policy Committee for its quarterly virtual meeting on March 11, 2026, 9:30–11 a.m. Our agenda includes:
- Leadership Community Spotlight: Josh Johnson, EFE director for the Whiteside Area Career Center, will share insights and lessons learned from conducting a region-wide student survey on CTE. Josh will share how harnessing student voice data has transformed decision-making on future hands-on programming for the area.
- Student Voice from the Student Advisory Council: We will welcome a Student Advisory Council member to share her research on CTE access and participation in her local community and across the state. By pairing quantitative data with qualitative findings from focus groups with her peers, her research will illuminate action steps for your local context.
- Federal Policy Updates: Hear updates regarding new federal initiatives related to college and career readiness, namely Workforce Pell.
- State Policy Updates: Dive into recent legislative session updates and anticipated public comments on new Dual Credit Quality Act rules.
Policy Committee meetings are free to attend and open to state and local practitioners and policy leaders seeking to improve outcomes for Illinois students.
