College Now is a unique partnership between Districts 211, 214, 220, and Harper College that offers students the opportunity to earn both a high school diploma and an Associate of Arts (AA) degree by the end of their senior year. Through a carefully structured academic plan, students complete college-level coursework on the campus of Harper College while also fulfilling their high school graduation requirements.
College Now is designed for motivated, academically prepared high school students who are ready to take on the challenge of college coursework and accelerate the path to a college degree. Students in the College Now program get a head start on college by fully stepping into the role of a college student while still receiving support from their high school. College Now students take classes alongside traditional Harper College students, follow a college syllabus, and meet the same academic standards. This experience builds confidence, independence, and college-ready skills while earning transferable credits toward a degree.
