Students in Mrs. Leslie Bradley’s Education class at Vienna High School recently completed their Youth Mental Health First Aid certification, gaining skills that will serve them well in future careers, centered on helping others.
The certification was made possible through instruction from Arrowleaf professionals, Emily Middleton and Fallon Mills, who guided students through training focused on recognizing, understanding, and responding to signs of mental health challenges in young people.
Many students in the class are planning careers in education, social work, and healthcare. By earning this certification while still in high school, they are taking an important first step towards being prepared, compassionate, and informed professionals.
Vienna High School and Mrs. Bradley’s Education class thanks Arrowleaf, Emily Middleton, and Fallon Mills for their partnership and dedication to student learning!
